About New England Virtual Assistants
The idea for NEVA was formed by Monica Bentley who had a desire to reach out to local virtual assistants. At the first luncheon she met Linda Phillips and Sue Peel and from then on they have been the "founders" of NEVA. Monica has taken the role of Membership Director and has worked diligently to try to find other VAs who want to enjoy the camaraderie and support that a regional group can offer. In four years NEVA has grown to over 37 members. We invite you to visit ourMembership Info page.
Sue Peel shares Monica’s vision for NEVA and became a co-founder because she knew that a strong local community of fellow VA’s will positively impact each member’s success. During her nine years experience with virtual assistance, Sue has seen the mighty influence a local group can have on the regional public’s awareness of who Virtual Assistants are and what they do. She says "Hey, I figure that the more folks who know about Virtual Assistants, the bigger our client pool. The bigger the client pool, the more money we make. Sounds like a no-brainer to me! Want to help us spread the word?"
NEVA is thankful to its Board and the members who assist in running the organization. Those members are:
